Сегодня мы хотим рассказать вам о Миле.

Мила стала пациенткой Детского хосписа «Дом с маяком» 6 мая 2024 года. Пять месяцев Мила, её родители, брат и сестра, а ещё – любимая собака провели в «Доме с маяком». Жили в стационаре, уезжали, когда Миле становилось лучше, потом возвращались. Все мы восхищались Милой: как смело она меняет цвет волос, как она с готовностью принимает любые идеи, как находит силы для приключений. Летом Мила устроила в нашем саду настоящий праздник мороженого. Это было чудесное время. Не только для Милы и её близких – для всего «Дома с маяком».

Неделю назад Мила умерла.

The last couple days have exemplified that uncertainty. On Thursday, news emerged that talks in Turkey between the Russia and Ukraine yielded no positive result. But on Friday, Reuters reported that Russian President Vladimir Putin said there had been some “positive shifts” in talks between the two sides. Either way, Durov says that he withdrew his resignation but that he was ousted from his company anyway. Subsequently, control of the company was reportedly handed to oligarchs Alisher Usmanov and Igor Sechin, both allegedly close associates of Russian leader Vladimir Putin. "There are several million Russians who can lift their head up from propaganda and try to look for other sources, and I'd say that most look for it on Telegram," he said. What distinguishes the app from competitors is its use of what's known as channels: Public or private feeds of photos and videos that can be set up by one person or an organization. The channels have become popular with on-the-ground journalists, aid workers and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, who broadcasts on a Telegram channel. The channels can be followed by an unlimited number of people. Unlike Facebook, Twitter and other popular social networks, there is no advertising on Telegram and the flow of information is not driven by an algorithm. But Telegram says people want to keep their chat history when they get a new phone, and they like having a data backup that will sync their chats across multiple devices. And that is why they let people choose whether they want their messages to be encrypted or not. When not turned on, though, chats are stored on Telegram's services, which are scattered throughout the world. But it has "disclosed 0 bytes of user data to third parties, including governments," Telegram states on its website.
