Using Scripture to explain Scripture is not dodging Scripture. It is exploding error. Those who refuse the correction of "it is written again" are not defending Scripture but wresting it.

Even if Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has not physically fled the country, he has, for all practical purposes, fled (abdicated) the practical leadership of the country. Or perhaps he is busy having a nervous breakdown in a bunker somewhere, trying to understand why God is allowing his faithful to get the dickens kicked out of them by the Little Satan.
Intellectuals love to legitimize their presuppositions by claiming that it is impossible for men to be freed from their presuppositions. It is impossible for men to be completely renewed in their minds by the Bible.
Sensationalists love to legitimize their speculations by claiming that it is impossible for men know to know the truth with certainty on most issues that we debate. It is impossible for men to accurately understand what the Bible teaches on these subjects.
Unbalanced Pentecostals love to legitimize their revelations from God by claiming that it is impossible for men to know with certainty whether what they are hearing is from the Holy Spirit or not. It is impossible for men to accurately discern the spirits with the Bible.
Do you see a pattern here? The main schools of error have framed spiritual sounding justifications for not using the Bible to the length and degree that they should be using it.

I have seen rumors that Iran has at least one nuke and intends to use it (or them) tonight, but nothing definitive. While I can't rule this possibility out, it seems more likely that she would use her largest conventional warheads. BUT, if she did deploy nukes, that would be a desperate act of desperate men trying to maintain their regime. AND it would prove to be regime suicide. The US and Israel, and perhaps other allies would respond with overwhelming firepower.
If they have nukes, where did they come from? I suspect that our intel is correct that they haven't actually made their own nuke. They were struggling with the steps to go from fissionable material to an armed nuclear warhead. This is an extremely complicated process. BUT, they could easily have purchased a few warheads from Pakistan that could be mounted on their current ICBMs. There are other possible sources from whence they could have obtained nukes, but Pakistan is the most likely source.

Had a great birthday. Fellowshipped with the saints at New Horizon Christian Fellowship in Klamath Falls OR. Heard Josh Schwartz open the word. I opened the word. Had grilled tri-tip, asparagus, apple pie and ice cream for dinner. Spent the afternoon with dear friends in sweet fellowship.
What will the next year look like as far as Israel is concerned? My best guess is that Israel will wind up operations in Gaza, stabilize Samaria and the West bank with less extreme measures than would be ideal, largely subdue Hezbollah, go forward in normalizing relationships as per the Abraham Accords, continue to say no to any two-state solution, and continue to allow America to force her into policies that do more for securing America's interests than Israel's. She will be going down the path of peace and unwalled cities, headed for a collision course with Gog and Magog.
