Это далеко не первая дорогостоящая реконструкция «Рощино». С 2012 по 2017 год проходили масштабные работы, средства в которые вложили власти ХМАО, ЯНАО и Тюменской области. Тогда тоже хотели построить гостиницу, но в проект внесли изменения. В целом из бюджета выделили около 4 млрд рублей — в два раза меньше, чем сейчас.
