Actually, when after the plague followed the war, I genuinely was hoping for aliens. And I even saw a dream where they landed here, and people (who were against war, capitalism, et cetera) actually cheered, a huge crowd, I remember standing in that crowd and laughing with relief, thinking that things will be bearable soon, that aliens would set this mess right.
