С раннего утра, когда сотрудники СНБ пытались вывести Владыку Микаэла из Первопрестольного Эчмиадзина (что им не удалось), на территорию Резиденции были стянуты многочисленные силы полиции.
По информации Yerkir.am, действия этих подразделений лично координировал командующий войсками полиции РА, заместитель начальника полиции Айк Бабаян (по прозвищу «Ефрейтор»), который получил звание генерала от Никола.
