OK, making ice cream can be done a bunch of ways but this way is likely the easiest IMHO

As you make this each time you may adjust the amounts to suit your taste. I have a sweet tooth so I'm not afraid to use sugar but if your taste is for less sweet then you can use as little as half what's in this recipe.

Basically get about 600ml of the best cream you can but basic cream works fine too - I think that's a pint for you. Then add about 500g sugar ( the finest you can get coz it dissolves easier ) - that's about a pound of sugar for you.

Throw the sugar in the cream with as much caramel or whatever flavour you like - I use maybe a quarter of the bottle in the pic but again, adjust to your taste.

Then blend or whisk it 'til it thickens and stick it in the freezer - keep it covered in the freezer and wowzer LOL

Real Turkish delight ............

Necessary materials for sherbet.

4 cups of granulated sugar (700 grams).
1.5 glasses of water ( 300 ml ).
1 slice of lemon.

For Turkish Delight Yeast.

1 cup of cornstarch (130 grams).
3 small red beets (coloring).
3 glasses of water (600 ml).
1 teaspoon of cream of tartar (10 grams).
hazelnuts (100 grams).
coconut (50 grams).
