رويكرد نوين صلح‌خواهی به دليل توجه و عنايت به گستره وسيعی كه در پرتو خوانش حقوق بشری از صلح ايجاد شده نه تنها در ايجاد و حفظ روابط بهنجار ميان دولت‌ها اصرار دارد، بلکه صلح اجتماعی بر تكريم و تحكيم هنجار‌هايی همچون عدالت، آزادی و برابری‌های جنسيتی، قوميتی، نژادی و... در روابط بين انسانی و مردم با خودشان و بين مردم با دولت‌ها و به ايمنی در حوزه رفاه اجتماعی و اقتصادی هم توجه و تاكيد دارد. از اين رو هر كنشی كه در راستای مبارزه با فقر و بيكاری و بي‌سوادی و عقب‌ماندگی‌های سياسی، اجتماعی و اقتصادی انجام مي‌گيرد، در چارچوب كنش‌ها و فعاليت‌های صلح‌خواهانه دسته‌بندی می‌شود.
با اين توصيفات می‌توان ادعا کرد:
