رافائل گروسی، مدیرکل آژانس بین‌المللی انرژی اتمی، با استقبال از آتش‌بس میان جمهوری اسلامی و اسرائیل، خواستار ازسرگیری فوری بازرسی‌ها در سایت‌های هسته‌ای شد. او تأکید کرده که حملات هوایی دوازده روز گذشته «آسیب گسترده‌ای» به سایت‌های نطنز، فردو، اراک و اصفهان وارد کرده و همکاری دوباره با آژانس برای رسیدن به توافق دیپلماتیک ضروری است. گروسی در نامه‌ای به عباس عراقچی، وزیر خارجه جمهوری اسلامی خواستار دیدار فوری شده و اعلام کرده بازرسان آژانس آماده بازگشت به سایت‌ها و بررسی موجودی مواد هسته‌ای هستند؛ از جمله «بیش از ۴۰۰ کیلوگرم اورانیوم غنی‌شده تا سطح ۶۰ درصد» که پیش از حملات ۲۳ خرداد اسرائیل، راستی‌آزمایی شده بود. به گفته او، با وجود نشت موضعی مواد پرتوزا و شیمیایی در مراکز آسیب‌دیده، میزان تشعشع خارج از تأسیسات افزایش نیافته است.
