По данным источников издания в правительстве Азербайджана, причиной крушения самолета Azerbaijan Airlines стала российская ракета класса "земля-воздух", которая взорвалась рядом с самолетом.
Euronews отмечает, что удар совпал с "активностью беспилотников" над Грозным, а осколки задели пассажиров и членов экипажа.
Источники издания сообщили, что поврежденному самолету вопреки просьбам пилотов не разрешили приземлиться ни в одном из российских аэропортов и направили в казахстанский Актау.
