50 израильских истребителей нанесли серию точечных авиаударов по военным и ядерным объектам Ирана в Тегеране. Среди атакованных целей был объект по производству центрифуг, «что должно было позволить иранскому режиму расширить масштабы и темпы обогащения урана в целях разработки ядерного оружия».
Помимо этого были атакованы объекты по производству оружия: завод по производству сырья и компонентов для сборки ракет класса «земля-земля», а также по производству систем и компонентов для ракет класса «земля-воздух», предназначенных для поражения самолетов.
