📃The Munich Convention of National Cooperation to Save Iran

🔹In recent days, two important events took place in the ongoing struggle for a free Iran: the Munich Convention of National Cooperation to Save Iran, focused on uniting opposition forces, and the Iran Revival Project, which aims to offer a forward-looking framework for rebuilding Iran’s future. Though differing in form and emphasis, both initiatives share a common objective: the transition from the Islamic Republic and the establishment of a free, secular, and democratic Iran.

🔺Held on July 26, the Munich Conference was hosted by the Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi and brought together over 500 participants representing what he called “the broadest and most diverse coalition of Iranian opposition forces ever assembled,” including political figures, artists, athletes in exile, families of victims, former political prisoners, civil society activists, and representatives of various opposition factions.

🔻The conference centered on key themes such as national cooperation, the need for alignment between opposition groups and Iranian society inside the country, and strategies for countering the Islamic Republic’s repression.

🔸Messages from the Mothers Seeking Justice, were read aloud and deeply moved participants. The women who have lost their children to the Islamic Republic’s sham trials and political executions. Yet, their voices for justice remain as strong as ever.
