Президент Латвии требует отделиться от России еще на 30 м

Во время инспекции "восточных рубежей" Эдгар Ринкевич заявил, что пограничную полосу, отделяющую республику с Россией и Белоруссией, с имеющихся 12 м необходимо расширить минимум до 42 м.

Он оказался доволен тем, что забор на границе с Белоруссией закончен, даже несмотря на дожди.

"Однако забор немного сдерживает, но это не панацея, нужны системы и пограничники",

– сообщил Ринкевич.

Ранее стало известно, что латвийские власти начнут изымать земли на расстоянии до 30 км от границы с Россией и Белоруссией.
