๐๐ก๐ฎ๐ง๐ ๐๐ฎ๐ฅ๐ค๐ฎ ๐๐ข๐ง๐ฉ๐จ๐๐ก๐ was born at Bumchen in Bumthang, Bhutan. The third of seven sons from a yak-herding family, five of whom have been recognized as Tulkus, Rinpoche was enthroned as the 3rd mind incarnation of Trulzhik Do Ngak Lingpa by His Holiness Penor Rinpoche at Bodhgaya when he was 13. He studied at Namdroling Institute in Mysore, South India, where he received the Master's degree.
Rinpoche served as the chief abbot of Tharpaling Monastery in Bumthang and is founder of Dhyana Zhitshok, a non-profit meditation centre in Bhutan. He has also taught in other countries such as Poland, Hungary, Croatia, Germany, Australia and the US among others. Rinpoche also started and heads the Tshogyel Lungtok Tengayling Nunnery at Choten Gangkha, in Shaba, Paro, Bhutan.
