Арсений Тарханов (позывной "Сибирь") ушёл добровольцем на фронт через Интербригады весной 2022 года. Как и многие российские добровольцы, был несправедливо ославлен дезертиром (см. Проблема-500). Будучи официально СОЧ, в боях за Курскую область получил тяжелое ранение и через три месяца скончался в госпитале.

Снять статус СОЧ с бойца удалось только после его смерти. На днях матери Сибири передали медаль сына от МО "Участнику Специальной военной операции". Медаль выдана задним числом, когда Сибирь ещё был жив. За сутки до вторжения ВСУ в Курскую область.
