В литературно-художественном музее книги Чехова «Остров Сахалин», открылся уникальный проект, посвященный развитию военной истории нашего государства. Это экспозиция «Сокровища полковых музеев».

250 экспонатов из фондов Государственного исторического музея – интересное и сильное погружение в историю русской императорской армии и флота, офицерских собраний и личных коллекций.

Среди экспонатов – «полковое» серебро, шефские мундиры, георгиевские знамена, коллективные и именные награды, орденские сервизы, иконы-реликвии и походная церковная утварь.

Очень рекомендую сходить на выставку! Изучая, чем жили люди прошлого, мы лучше понимаем значение того времени для нашей истории и для нашего сегодняшнего дня.
