По версии следствия, будучи гендиректором ООО «Архангельское специализированное энергетическое предприятие», он вывел из-под процедуры банкротства 38 автомобилей фирмы, продав их в десять раз дешевле другой компании, которую сам же и создал.
Оказавшись под следствием, экс-депутат полностью признал свою вину, но это не уберегло его от ареста. Следствие, а затем и суд пришли к выводу, что Григорий Шилкин имеет «устойчивые личные связи» в органах госвласти, которые может использовать для противодействия расследованию. А от обвинения в растрате, по которому грозит десятилетний срок, может скрыться.
