По данным издания, инициатива негативно скажется на кукурузе, сахаре, меде и мясе птицы. Отмечается, что подобные условия резко сократят беспошлинные квоты для украинской сельхозпродукции. При этом в настоящее время Еврокомиссия (ЕК) ведет переговоры о новом торговом соглашении с украинской стороной, однако также готовится к переходу от свободной торговли к протекционистским мерам.
