LA ASOCIACIÓN LIBERUM INFORMA que se ha interpuesto RECURSO CONTENCIOSO ADMINISTRATIVO, con solicitud de MEDIDA CAUTELARISIMA URGENTE, de SUSPENSIÓN CAUTELAR, impugnando LA ORDEN DE 11 DE ENERO DE 2024, DE LA CONSEJERÍA DE SALUD Y CONSUMO DE LA JUNTA DE ANDALUCÍA, POR LA QUE SE ESTABLECEN MEDIDAS CAUTELARES EN MATERIA DE SALUD PÚBLICA DE CARÁCTER EXTRAORDINARIO, URGENTE Y TEMPORAL, NECESARIAS PARA HACER FRENTE AL INCREMENTO DE LAS INFECCIONES RESPIRATORIAS EN EL TERRITORIO DE LA COMUNIDAD ANDALUZA POR CONSIDERARLA NULA DE PLENO DERECHO.

A Russian Telegram channel with over 700,000 followers is spreading disinformation about Russia's invasion of Ukraine under the guise of providing "objective information" and fact-checking fake news. Its influence extends beyond the platform, with major Russian publications, government officials, and journalists citing the page's posts. Artem Kliuchnikov and his family fled Ukraine just days before the Russian invasion. The company maintains that it cannot act against individual or group chats, which are “private amongst their participants,” but it will respond to requests in relation to sticker sets, channels and bots which are publicly available. During the invasion of Ukraine, Pavel Durov has wrestled with this issue a lot more prominently than he has before. Channels like Donbass Insider and Bellum Acta, as reported by Foreign Policy, started pumping out pro-Russian propaganda as the invasion began. So much so that the Ukrainian National Security and Defense Council issued a statement labeling which accounts are Russian-backed. Ukrainian officials, in potential violation of the Geneva Convention, have shared imagery of dead and captured Russian soldiers on the platform. As a result, the pandemic saw many newcomers to Telegram, including prominent anti-vaccine activists who used the app's hands-off approach to share false information on shots, a study from the Institute for Strategic Dialogue shows. The fake Zelenskiy account reached 20,000 followers on Telegram before it was shut down, a remedial action that experts say is all too rare.
