36-летний Дмитрий (имя изменено) агитировал студентов с 2019 года — приглашал ребят к себе домой на тайные встречи, где проповедовал радикальный ислам. В этом ему помогали два человека — некие Юсупов и Пашаев.
Юношей отбирали по одному критерию: они должны быть из мусульманских семей. На "встречах" Дмитрий со своими подельниками психологически обрабатывали студентов и внедряли в их сознание ценности секты. Во время обысков в доме профессора силовики нашли запрещённую литературу (36 книг), рукописи лекций Саида Нурси, пять мобильников, два ноутбука, видео- и аудионосители. Дмитрий во всём сознался.
