🔹معاونت بهداشت وزارت بهداشت در اطلاعیه‌ای، شعار و روزشمار هفته بدون دخانیات را اعلام کرد.
🔹هر ساله به مناسبت گرامیداشت روز جهانی بدون دخانیات در تاریخ ۳۱ ماه می، اقدامات هماهنگ و گسترده ای در سراسر جهان برای تنویر افکار عمومی در خصوص مضرات استعمال دخانیات، ترفندهای صنایع دخانی و اهمیت ترک دخانیات انجام می شود.
🔹شعار سازمان جهانی بهداشت در سال جاری با عنوان " تعهد برای ترک دخانیات" ( Commit to quit ) اعلام شده است و در این راستا مقرر است، فعالیت ها و اقدامات برای افزایش آگاهی عمومی، به خصوص جوانان، در خصوص تاثیرات مضر مصرف دخانیات، از سرطان تا بیماری های تنفسی مزمن، اهمیت کاهش و ترک مصرف دخانیات و همچنین خطرات مواجهه با دود دست دوم و سوم، تمرکز یابد.
