До конца 2024 года оператор установит на сети МТС 200 единиц оборудования «ИРТЕЯ». Они будут работать в разных регионах страны: от Дальнего Востока до юга России.
Еще 1000 установок запустят в течение 2025 года в местах с плотной концентрацией пользователей. Диапазон станций — 2100 МГц и 2600 МГц. К 2026 году новое оборудование появится и у других операторов.
Это первый в стране масштабный проект по производству базовых станций и их внедрению.
