▪️سازمان آثار باستانی #اسرائیل روز چهارشنبه ۲۹ مرداد از کشف یک سکه طلای ۲۲۰۰ ساله در نزدیکی شهر قدیمی #اورشلیم خبر داد. این کشف، اطلاعات جدیدی در مورد توسعه این شهر پس از تخریب #معبد_اول #یهودیان ارائه می‌دهد. این سکه که از طلای خالص ساخته شده، به سال‌های ۲۴۶ تا ۲۴۱ پیش از میلاد مسیح و دوران سلطنت #بطلمیوس سوم و همسرش ملکه برنیس دوم باز می‌گردد. به گفته سازمان آثار باستانی اسرائیل، این سکه یکی از تنها ۲۰ سکه شناخته شده از این نوع است و نخستین نمونه‌ای است که در یک کاوش باستان‌شناسی خارج از #مصر کشف شده است.
