And a rather unexpected part of the structure. . . Ancient funerary steles embedded in its walls. These marble slabs, inscribed with Greek epitaphs and reliefs, originate from the necropolises of Panticapaeum, the capital of the Bosporan Kingdom. "How can we overcome the sinfulness that is already firmly established within us? We must use force. A man labours and struggles, and so by the use of force he escapes from destruction, always striving to raise his thoughts to holiness. We are not forbidden to resist force with force."

Grabarka Holy Mount in Poland! 3️⃣

In 1710, a deadly plague swept through the Podlasie region, bringing suffering and death. As despair grew, an elderly man received a divine revelation in a dream that he must take up the cross, go to Grabarka mountain and God will grant them mercy 🤔

Dozens of believers carrying wooden crosses climbed the holy mountain in solemn procession, praying for deliverance. At the summit, they placed their crosses in the earth and drank from a spring that appeared miraculously. Soon after, the plague ceased - those who had participated were spared, while the surrounding villages continued to suffer ☕️

In 1990 some VERY BAD PERSON set the church on the top of the mountain on fire and it burned down completely 😭
It was rebuilt eventually, and the place remains a popular pilgrimage site today!

You can still find hundreds of wooden crosses on the site where the miracle occurred centuries ago!
