🕯 Свеча памяти в Сухуме: помним героев

В Сухуме у Памятника Неизвестному солдату прошла Международная мемориальная акция «Свеча памяти», приуроченная ко Дню памяти и скорби.

Участники зажгли свечи и выложили слово «Помним» — как знак благодарности тем, кто отдал жизнь за Родину. В память о павших была объявлена минута молчания.

Свыше 55 тысяч жителей Абхазии ушли на фронт в годы Великой Отечественной войны. Более 17 тысяч из них не вернулись домой. 23 бойца были удостоены звания Героя Советского Союза, трое стали полными кавалерами орденов Славы.

Память о них жива.
