Специалисты МЧС России, «Кубань-СПАС» и Морспасслужбы в течение дня собирали нефтепродукты на дне неподалеку от берега (вручную и с помощью эжекторных установок). В каждом районе, где проводят такие работы, на первом этапе с помощью мотопомп «сдувают» верхний слой песка, который замывает осевший на дно мазут.
Уборка нефтепродуктов продолжается ежедневно при благоприятной погоде. В общей сложности в Анапе и Темрюкском районе из воды извлечено более 840 тонн замазученного грунта.
