С 2022 г Россия ежегодно теряет около 0,8% активных исследователей. Такие темпы «утечки мозгов» не фиксировались с конца 1990-х.
Самые пострадавшие дисциплины – физика, астрономия, информатика и математика. Наиболее значительные потоки уезжающих направляются в глобальные центры академической мобильности – в Германию, США и Швейцарию. Среди новых направлений для академической эмиграции отмечаются Армения, Объединенные Арабские Эмираты и Казахстан, в то время как роста в Китае и Индии нет.
Эта утечка мозгов будет иметь негативные последствия как для отечественного академического сообщества, так и экономики России.
