По информации газеты «Коммерсантъ», ассоциация «Ростелесеть», в которую входят более 200 региональных операторов связи, направила письма главе Минцифры Максуту Шадаеву и руководителю Роскомнадзора Андрею Липову. В обращении сказано, что операторы столкнулись с «сильным и неравномерным замедлением работы YouTube, поисковой системы Google и её сервисов». По этой причине кратно выросло количество жалоб пользователей.
