По крайней мере, так говорится в докладе Общественной палаты «Демография 2030. Как обеспечить устойчивый рост населения Российской Федерации»:
«Прогноз (Росстата) не учёл и не мог учесть пандемию, потери от которой могут быть сопоставимы с невозвратными потерями России в Первой мировой войне».
Речь идет о потерях населения в 2020-21 и в первой половине 2022 года. В докладе никак это утверждение цифрами не подтверждается и не расшифровывается.
Но мы помним, что невозвратные (военные) потери Российской империи в Первой мировой войне составили 3,3 млн. человек.
