Задержанный провел разведку ряда объектов, в частности административных зданий силовых ведомств и транспортной инфраструктуры в Ессентуках и Ставрополе. Для совершения на этих объектах теракты он готовился собрать несколько взрывных устройств.
Ранее мужчина служил в спецподразделениях вооруженных сил Азербайджана, сообщили в ведомстве. Возбуждено уголовное дело.
