On May 15, we are taking to the streets together with Fellas4Europe to protest the normalization of russian propaganda on German stages.
The reason? Anna Netrebko is performing for the third time at the Staatsoper Berlin – despite her documented ties to Vladimir Putin and her support for russia’s occupation of Ukrainian territories.
To show what so-called “russian cultural policy” really means, we’re bringing a real victim of this war with us: the Ukrainian ambulance Barwinka.
🚑 On March 12, 2022, it was hit in a targeted double missile strike – an attack on first responders who had already arrived on the scene.
We refuse to let Germany’s cultural institutions be hijacked for russian soft power. We bring the facts to where others look away.
