Как-то - лет тридцать назад - взялись обсуждать «ы» после «ц», дескать упразднить нафиг, а то народ путается, когда «ы», когда «и», оставить - как после шипящих -только «и» Рубились долго, а когда силы были уже на исходе, один выдающийся лингвист метнул последний аргумент: «Если это будут огурцИ, я их есть не буду!!!» Вот и я. Если это будет «звОнит», перестану пользоваться телефоном. Оно и здоровее будет
