Другими словами, при любой администрации в США не было планов на затяжную войну до границ 1991. Откуда напрашиваются простые вопросы: кто из союзников способен поддерживать нашу оборону на том же уровне без США и что в практическом плане дает нам затягивание войны, кроме роста жертв, разрушений, и пролонгации полномочий действующей власти?
