На торжественном открытии присутствовали епископ Феодосий и мэр города Владислав Пинаев. Глава города в своей речи напомнил о наличии в Нижнем Тагиле Православной гимназии. Детский сад появился по запросу горожан, отметил Пинаев.
Епископ Феодосий рассказал, что детский сад будет готовить детей к поступлению в гимназию. Он выразил надежду, что молитвы святого помогут воспитанникам учреждения и их семьям.
