Его построили в южных отрогах Станового хребта в зоне вечной мерзлоты и высокой сейсмической активности.
Чтобы уложить 2,4 км пути, строители выполнили колоссальный объём работ. Смонтировали 7 стрелочных переводов, возвели мост, переработали 46 тыс. м³ грунта.
При возведении железнодорожного пути сделали дренирующую насыпь и охлаждающую наброску из скального грунта. Обустроили бермы и уложили геотекстиль.
Сейсмоустойчивость моста обеспечивают демпферы и боковые упоры.
Теперь на этом однопутном участке БАМа смогут разъезжаться встречные и попутные поезда.
