"The world is indeed full of peril, and in it there are many dark places; but still there is much that is fair, and though in all lands love is now mingled with grief, it grows perhaps the greater."
A monument raised in honor of Gustav Vasa, the father of Sweden, and the brave men of Rättvik who fought by his side.

I made a petition to try to save a 3,500 year old grave in Västerbotten, Sweden.
Swedish Authorities want to build a railway right through it. Please consider signing so that we can stop this madness.

Stop the destruction of a 3500 year old grave!
The Norrbotniabanan railway is planned to be built, and archaeological sites along the route have been examined. A 3,500-year-old burial cairn may now be removed to make way for the railway.

One of Sweden's largest oak trees, over ten meters in circumference and over five hundred years old.
Imagine all the memories. The love, the sorrow, victory and defeat, triumph and ruin.
This tree will be featured in a documentary I'm working on.

The Vidbo rider.
This is a very interesting runestone. It features a rider similar to the one on the Böksta Stone, which I covered in a longer video.
There is also a bird, barely visible above the rider.
Both the Vidbo Stone and the Böksta Stone, especially the latter, share a striking similarity with the Odin motif found on the helmet from Vendel Grave 1.
Could this also be a depiction of Odin?
I do believe so.
