Президент США Джо Байден обратился к участникам проходящего в Азербайджане форума «Бакинская энергетическая неделя», подчеркнув сохраняющееся значение Азербайджана как краеугольного камня глобальной энергетической безопасности, особенно для стран Европы.
«Региональная стабильность и взаимные связи являются главными приоритетами для Соединенных Штатов. Прочное и достойное мирное соглашение, положит конец десятилетиям конфликта, преобразит Южный Кавказ и существенно повысит роль Азербайджана в регионе. США привержены поддержке этих благородных устремлений», - заявил президент Байден, отметив важную роль закавказской страны в энергетической безопасности Европы.
