Постановка Юрия Квятковского – это трагифарс по мотивам пьесы Михаила Булгакова. Роль Мольера исполнит Константин Хабенский, в роли Людовика Великого – Максим Николаев. Также в спектакле заняты: Александра Ребенок, Сергей Волков, Иван Волков, Игорь Хрипунов, Павел Ващилин, Валерий Трошин, Елизавета Ермакова, Илья Козырев, Иван Дергачёв, Сергей Медведев, Даниил Феофанов, Алексей Агапов и студенты Школы-студии МХАТ.
Сценографию создаёт главный художник МХТ Николай Симонов, костюмы – модельер Игорь Чапурин. Также над спектаклем работают художник по свету Иван Виноградов, композитор Николай Попов.
