Тогда ожесточенные бои шли вокруг и внутри Артёмовска. Летом прошлого года, в ходе штурмовых действий под Часовым Яром, вместе с сослуживцами разведывали местность для дальнейшего размещения штурмовых групп на позициях. Слаженно и оперативно продвинули линию фронта и отодвинули противника. За это Владислав был награжден медалью «За Отвагу».
