Главную новогоднюю ель России установили на Соборной площади в Кремле. Елка, конечно, шикарная, роскошная. Возраст 90 лет. Высота 30 метров, диаметр ствола – 60 сантиметров. Лесничему, который нашел елку-победителя, каждый год дарят новую служебную машину. В этом году ключи от "Нивы" получил сотрудник Дровинского участкового лесничества Игорь Левочкин вблизи деревни Знаменка в Московской области.
Зеленую красавицу местные жители провожали как знаменитость. Округу, где она росла, взамен подарили молодые деревья – будущих конкуренток.

Среди натуральных деревьев выше московской ели в Европе казалась только украшающая Вену 34-метровая елочка. На третьем - елка в Риме, далее следуют Варшава и Лондон.

Since January 2022, the SC has received a total of 47 complaints and enquiries on illegal investment schemes promoted through Telegram. These fraudulent schemes offer non-existent investment opportunities, promising very attractive and risk-free returns within a short span of time. They commonly offer unrealistic returns of as high as 1,000% within 24 hours or even within a few hours. Telegram does offer end-to-end encrypted communications through Secret Chats, but this is not the default setting. Standard conversations use the MTProto method, enabling server-client encryption but with them stored on the server for ease-of-access. This makes using Telegram across multiple devices simple, but also means that the regular Telegram chats you’re having with folks are not as secure as you may believe. The original Telegram channel has expanded into a web of accounts for different locations, including specific pages made for individual Russian cities. There's also an English-language website, which states it is owned by the people who run the Telegram channels. You may recall that, back when Facebook started changing WhatsApp’s terms of service, a number of news outlets reported on, and even recommended, switching to Telegram. Pavel Durov even said that users should delete WhatsApp “unless you are cool with all of your photos and messages becoming public one day.” But Telegram can’t be described as a more-secure version of WhatsApp. The Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi) had carried out a similar exercise in 2017 in a matter related to circulation of messages through WhatsApp.
