Пасхальный пейзаж. Работа посвящена моменту, о котором рассказывает Евангелие: камень уже отвален от Гроба Господня, женщины идут ко гробу, но ещё ничего не знают.
Это состояние — между ночью и днем, между неведением и явлением чуда — автор передаёт через свет, простор и тишину.
Без прямой иллюстрации, без фигур, только пространство, в котором уже произошло главное.

Каролина Гартавер-Сас — одна из наших любимых художниц, она открывала нашу галерею в Палехе первой персональной выставкой.
Художественный язык Каролины соединяет живопись, лоскутное шитьё и иконографическую традицию. Эту работу и ещё несколько других её произведений можно будет увидеть уже в эту пятницу в нашей галерее.
