В сфере сельского хозяйства Узбекистан хочет привлечь итальянских специалистов для выращивания винограда, оливок и спаржи, а также для организации агролабораторий, развития биотехнологий и внедрения агрострахования.
Стороны поддержали инициативу открытия в Узбекистане филиала университета Туши. Узбекистан подключат к программе двойных дипломов с университетами Пизы, Тренто, Рома Тре и Ка-Фоскари.
Таким образом, страны ЕС, в число которых входит Италия, продолжают активно налаживать связи со странами Центральной Азии. Более того, в этом году состоялся первый саммит «Евросоюз – Центральная Азия».
