این جایزه در سال ۲۰۲۵ به پاس «خدمات استثنائی» پروفسور سروشیان «به پیشرفت علم و عمل در حوزه آب و بینش منجر به تولید یک محصول نرم‌افزاری داده‌های بارش که به میلیون‌ها نفر در جهان کمک می‌کند»، به او اهدا می‌گردد.
این مدال از سال ۱۹۳۹ به طور سالانه به دانشمندی اهدا می‌شود که نقشی چشم‌گیر در پیشرفت علوم پایه ژئوفیزیک داشته است.

Since January 2022, the SC has received a total of 47 complaints and enquiries on illegal investment schemes promoted through Telegram.
