На фото два самых известных лося Калининградской области, которые "обитают" на востоке региона.

#Гусев: при содействии художника Р.Фризе скульптор Людвиг Фордермайер ваял гумбинненского лося с натуры в устье реки Неман, чтобы отлить его в бронзе в Берлине. По окончании войны и до 1991 года располагался в Калининградском зоопарке, откуда был решительно вывезен гусевскими властями.

Бронзовая скульптура работы того же Л.Фордемайера была установлена и в Тильзите (в 1928 году) и стала подарком городу от министра-президента Пруссии Отто Брауна. После войны этот лось тоже "уехал" в Калининградский зоопарк, чтобы в 2006 году вернуться в #Советск.

Второй сохатый крупнее, держит голову ниже, имеет имя Густав и аккаунты в социальных сетях.

Ещё одна скульптура животного - оленя - на этот раз авторства уже самого уроженца Гумбиннена, упомянутого ранее именитого Р.Фризе уехала гораздо дальше - из Роминтена (совр.#Краснолесье) в Смоленск, в сад Блонье.
