وفقا لخطة شرطة ولاية البحر الاحمر لمكافحة الجريمة والظواهر السالبة شنت شرطة محلية بورتسودان حملة لمكافحة الجريمة والظواهر السالبة باختصاص القسم الاوسط وشملت (بنك الخرطوم-شارع البصيري-شارع الاستاد-شارع مكة- شارع قشلاق الاوسط-استوب المرور- الجامع الكبير) واسفرت عن ضبط 7 متهمين يتعاملون بالنقد الأجنبي وتم فتح بلاغات في مواجهتهم تحت المادة 6/5 نقد اجنبي تمهيدا تقديمهم للمحاكمة وبحوزتهم مبلغ 500'150دولار، 100يورو،2درهم إماراتي، 4208جنيه مصري، 1ريال عماني، 1071ريال قطري، 11073ريال سعودي، وسوف تتم حالتهم النيابة الجرائم الإقتصادية.
كما تم القبض علي عدد 8 متهم يتعاملون بجريمة الرباء تم فتح بلاغات في مواجهتهم تحت المادة ٦ ثراء حرام حيث بلغت جملة المبلغ المعروضات ستة الف وتسعمائة واحد وسبعين جنيه سوداني و عدد 18 غسال تم فتح بلاغات امر ولائي في مواجهتهم وعدد 30 موتر بدون لوحات.
حققت الحملة اهدافها وكان لها أثر طيب في نفوس المواطنين ووجدت استحسانهم.
