По словам Цыденова, показатель биомассы пока недостаточен, однако, если взять во внимание количественный показатель, то поголовье очевидно растет.
«В целом восстановление поголовья идет. В Северобайкальске омуль стал к берегу подходить. Такого не было много лет. Наглядное проявление того, что восстановление популяции идет», — отметил глава республики.
