تؤكد حركة المقاومة الإسلامية (حماس) أنه لا أساس من الصحة لما نشرته قناة العربية الحدث وبعض وسائل الإعلام والمنصات الإعلامية منسوبًا لمصدر في الحركة حول مسار مفاوضات وقف إطلاق النار.
وتشدد الحركة على أن تداول مثل هذه الأخبار المضللة يهدف إلى تشويه الحقائق وبث البلبلة في الرأي العام.
كما تدعو الحركة وسائل الإعلام إلى الالتزام بالمهنية والموضوعية، وعدم الاعتماد على مصادر مجهولة أو أخبار غير موثوقة، مؤكدة أن التصريحات الدقيقة والمعتمدة تصدر فقط عبر المنصّات الرسمية للحركة.
