وتم خلال اللقاء بحث المستجدات الأخيرة في العملية السياسية في ليبيا بما في ذلك الجهود التي تبذلها بعثة الأمم المتحدة للدعم في ليبيا (أونسميل) بغية التجاوز السريع للانقسام والأزمة التي تمر بها البلاد.
كما تم التطرق إلى عدد من قضايا التعاون الثنائي بين روسيا وليبيا، بما في ذلك على المستوى البرلماني.
