ووک سیمیچ، سرپرست منطقه حفاظت‌شده زاسا‌ویتسا به بخش صرب بی‌بی‌سی گفت: «فقط برای تهیه یک کیلو از این پنیر نیاز به ۲۵ لیتر شیر الاغ داریم و این مقدار شیر را هر الاغ در طول یک سال و نیم تولید می‌کند».

البته در میان پنیر‌های گران‌قیمت جهان، پوله رکورد‌دار محسوب نمی‌شود. رکورد گران‌قیمت‌ترین پنیر در حال حاضر به کابرالس، پنیر آبی اسپانیایی تعلق دارد که به گواهی کتاب رکورد‌های جهانی گینس ۲ و نیم کیلوگرم از آن در سال ۲۰۲۴ به قیمت حیرت‌انگیز ۳۶ هزار یورو فروخته شد.
