Он составил нам чин Божественной Литургии, который и по сей день совершается во всех православных храмах мира. Он оставил нам не только множество спасительных слов и наставлений, но и передал нам душевные молитвы, которыми молятся все православные люди утром и отходя ко сну, прославляя небесного Бога – Отца.
Именно он оставил нам, дивную по глубине и содержанию молитву, которую каждый раз мы читаем вслух перед Святым Причащением. «Верую,Господи, и исповедаю, яко Ты еси во истину Христос, Сын Бога Живаго, пришедый в мир грешныя спасти, от них же первый есмь аз… …Да не в суд или во осуждение будет мне Причащение святых Твоих Таин, Господи, но во исцеление души и тела. Аминь».
