Бэкграунд у Дмитрия Зиновьевича был что надо: ещё в Российской Империи он окончил консерваторию, очень любил Дебюсси и авангардную музыку. Водил дружбу с Маяковским, был завсегдатаем «Подвала бродячей собаки» — места где клубились звезды Серебреного века, вроде Мейерхольда и Блока.

После переезда в Европу композитор женился на балерине и стал её концертмейстером. Пару быстро заметили и пригласили на Бродвей. В Америке, Тёмкин познакомился с режиссерами Капрой и Хичкоком, и стал создавать музыку для их кино. Композитор придумал выпускать саундтреки как отдельный продукт — это было исключительно PR-решение для продвижения картин. Очень быстро фишку начали использовать все известные режиссеры. За темы к фильмам композитора 21 раз номинировали на Оскар, и 4 раза награждали. Легенда!

The account, "War on Fakes," was created on February 24, the same day Russian President Vladimir Putin announced a "special military operation" and troops began invading Ukraine. The page is rife with disinformation, according to The Atlantic Council's Digital Forensic Research Lab, which studies digital extremism and published a report examining the channel. Given the pro-privacy stance of the platform, it’s taken as a given that it’ll be used for a number of reasons, not all of them good. And Telegram has been attached to a fair few scandals related to terrorism, sexual exploitation and crime. Back in 2015, Vox described Telegram as “ISIS’ app of choice,” saying that the platform’s real use is the ability to use channels to distribute material to large groups at once. Telegram has acted to remove public channels affiliated with terrorism, but Pavel Durov reiterated that he had no business snooping on private conversations. Telegram has become more interventionist over time, and has steadily increased its efforts to shut down these accounts. But this has also meant that the company has also engaged with lawmakers more generally, although it maintains that it doesn’t do so willingly. For instance, in September 2021, Telegram reportedly blocked a chat bot in support of (Putin critic) Alexei Navalny during Russia’s most recent parliamentary elections. Pavel Durov was quoted at the time saying that the company was obliged to follow a “legitimate” law of the land. He added that as Apple and Google both follow the law, to violate it would give both platforms a reason to boot the messenger from its stores. The channel appears to be part of the broader information war that has developed following Russia's invasion of Ukraine. The Kremlin has paid Russian TikTok influencers to push propaganda, according to a Vice News investigation, while ProPublica found that fake Russian fact check videos had been viewed over a million times on Telegram.
